Q&A

Is this ink suitable for shrink sleeves?

Yes, the ink is suitable for printing on shrink sleeves. With the correct choice of white from the Sleeves series, shrinkage of up to 60% is possible. A preliminary test on the specific material is important — the result depends on the substrate type (PVC, OPS, PETG) and shrinkage conditions. If in doubt, contact us to select the optimal solution.

What is the difference between standard and fade-resistant (Fast) shades?

Standard base shades have optimal color characteristics for mixing and reproducing the PMS palette. Fade-resistant (Fast) shades have enhanced lightfastness of 6-7 on the DIN ISO 12040 scale — important for outdoor applications or long-term shelf storage.

Can this ink be used for cosmetic labels?

Yes. The ink has confirmed resistance to cosmetics, lotions, shampoos, alcohol, and detergents on standard label materials — PP, PE, PVC, and paper. This makes it an optimal choice for the cosmetics and perfume industry. For specific chemical compositions, a preliminary resistance test is recommended.

Does the ink need to be diluted before printing?

No, the ink is designed with low viscosity and is ready to use straight from the container without prior dilution. This simplifies work and reduces the risk of preparation errors. Dilution with reactive diluent is only needed in specific cases — for example, with a very fine anilox screen or non-standard viscosity requirements on a particular machine.
